The TB IgG Rapid Test Kit is a lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay. The test cassettes consists of :1) a burgundy colored conjugate pad containing recombinant TB antigen conjugated with colloidal gold; 2) a nitrocellulose membrane strip containing one test line(T line) and a control line(C line).The T line is precoated with the mouse anti-human IgG antibody. The C line is precoated with the anti-mouse IgG antibody. When an adequate volume of test specimen is added into the sample well of the test cassette, the specimen migrated by capillary action across the pre-coated membrane. The TB IgG antibody if present in the specimen will bind to the M.TB conjugates. The immunocomplex is then captured by the antibody coated in T line, forming a burgundy-colored T line, indicating TB IgG positive test results.
